“Environmental protection and sustainability are an integral part of the corporate philosophy of the KEMMLER Electronic Group. In our Code of Conduct, we strengthen this philosophy with regard to working conditions, health and safety, the environment, and business ethics. Our sites are certified annually according to the international environmental management standard ISO 14001, which helps us identify, assess, manage, and continuously improve environmental impacts. Another pillar of our sustainability concept is the tracking of direct and indirect greenhouse gas emissions according to the GHG Protocol (Greenhouse Gas Protocol) and the evaluation of our company based on the BIA (B Impact Assessment), which is used to determine the ecological and social impacts throughout the entire supply chain and helps achieve and maintain high standards of social and environmental performance.”

Climate Neutrality Goals

The global climate crisis requires decisive action, and KEMMLER Electronic is meeting this challenge with a clear commitment to climate neutrality. At the 2015 Paris Climate Conference, 195 nations committed to keeping global warming significantly below 2°C compared to pre-industrial times by the end of the century. To achieve these ambitious goals, it is crucial to understand and minimize the CO2 footprint.

The classification of emissions into three so-called scopes, based on the Greenhouse Gas Protocol, plays a central role in this. This categorization enables companies to systematically record their emissions and take targeted reduction measures.

The four goals of KEMMLER GOES ZERO are derived from these three scopes and focus on the following key areas of the GREENHOUSE GAS PROTOCOL!"
